Updated information on recent homicides 01/10/2021

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at approximately 6:46 a.m., on the 6500 block of W. Congress Street. The victim was passenger in a vehicle when the suspect approached in a vehicle and fired several shots subsequently striking her. The victim, a 13-year female from Milwaukee, was driven to a local hospital where she succumbed due to gunshot injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. The dead on entry incident that occurred on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at approximately 12:46 p.m., on the 4600 block of W. North Avenue, was determined to have been caused by gunfire and his now being investigated as a homicide. See below updated statement:

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on December 29, 2020, at approximately 4:25 p.m., on the 4600 block of W. North Avenue. The decedent, a 44-year-old man from Milwaukee, was located deceased of fatal gunshot injuries inside a parked vehicle on January 6, 2021, at approximately 12:46 p.m. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
