MPD Investigates Multiple Shootings, a Homicide and a Fatal Car Accident 12/06/2020

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on 12/06/2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., on the 2800 block of N. 76th Street. The 13-year old male victim accidently shot himself while playing with a gun in his home. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Milwaukee Police recovered two guns. The investigation is ongoing.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on 12/06/2020, at about 3:25 a.m., on the 200 block of E. Buffalo Street. The 24-year-old male victim was leaving the bar when the victim was struck multiple times by gunfire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred on 12/06/20 at about 7:26pm in the 1300 block of N. 20th street. The 55 year old male driver and three passengers struck a tree, killing the driver at the scene. The 30 year old female front passenger suffered injuries. The 53 and 60 year old male back passengers suffered life threatening injuries. This accident is alcohol related.
On 12/06/20 at about 7:50pm a 31-year old male fired at a Milwaukee police officer in the 4300 block of N. 51st Street. The officer retuned fire. No one was struck. The subject was taken into custody. Please contact the office of the PIO for additional information.
The Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on 12/06/20 at about 11:48pm in the 500 block of E. Keefe. The 33 year old male victim was in an argument with someone when multiple gun shots were heard by witnesses. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at approximately 11:19 a.m., on the 4800 block of W. Locust Street. A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control and crashed into a residence. The driver, a 17-year-old male, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries. No one else was injured.  

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at approximately 9:42 p.m., on the 2200 block of N. Vel Phillips Avenue. The victim, a 23-year-old man from Milwaukee, sustained serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and is in critical but stable condition. The shooting appears to be the result of an argument. Milwaukee Police continues to seek an unknown suspect.
