The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two separate car accidents where the drivers were both seriously injured.
The first accident occurred at 10700 W. Brown Deer Road at about 10:25 pm. The preliminary investigation reveals that a 30 y/o male, was traveling West on Brown Deer Road while operating a 2004 Buick. The subject made a left turn to travel South on N. 107th Street, at which time he collided with a Semi-truck that was traveling East on Brown Deer Road.
The driver and only person in the Buick were seriously injured. He was conveyed to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department and is in critical condition. The driver of the Semi-truck, a 47 y/o man, was not injured. He remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Circumstances leading up to the accident remain under investigation.
At about 12:35 am, a 30 y/o male, was operating a 2007 Pontiac East on Silver Spring when he somehow lost control of his vehicle in the 7700 block of Silver Spring. The Pontiac careened out of control and struck a light pole. The driver and sole occupant in the vehicle were seriously injured. He was conveyed to a nearby hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department and is expected to survive.
Investigators believe that the Pontiac was the only car involved in the accident. Events leading to the accident remain under investigation.
